Customers in this trade often prefer WhatsApp to email. When your number is linked, the WhatsApp button on quotes, invoices and receipts sends the PDF from your company number.
Link your number
- Open the WhatsApp page in CamVerion. A QR code appears.
- On the company phone, open WhatsApp and go to Linked devices, then Link a device.
- Scan the code.
It works in the same way as linking WhatsApp Web. The phone should stay connected to the internet from time to time, so that the link stays active.
Sending a document
Open a quote or invoice and choose WhatsApp. The wording comes from your message templates. Check that the customer's phone number has the right country code.
If it stops working
Open the WhatsApp page to see the connection status. If it shows as disconnected, scan the code again. Also check on the phone that the device is still listed under Linked devices.
Using it responsibly
Message only people who expect to hear from you, and stop when someone asks you to. WhatsApp sets its own rules, and it may restrict numbers that send unwanted messages.
