Customers
A customer record holds a client's details along with their documents and account. A record is created for you when you approve a proforma or create an invoice, using the lead's details or the details on the document. You can also add one yourself.
Customer fields

Why one record matters
When a customer calls, you can see their documents and what they owe in one place. This matters for after-sales support and for offering upgrades or maintenance contracts later.
Keeping records clean
Search before creating a record to avoid duplicates. If a business changes its address or tax number, update the record so future documents are correct.
